The wait is over—RIDE has officially arrived at MIX MVMT! This isn’t just another cycling class; it’s a movement, a space where music, motion, and community come together to create an unparalleled fitness experience. With months of preparation and passion poured into every detail, we’re thrilled to share this incredible program with you.

The Journey to RIDE

The vision for RIDE has been part of THE MIX's journey from the very beginning. When planning began in 2020, RIDE was envisioned as an integral part of the studio’s future, slated for phase two of the space’s evolution. The dream began to take physical form in September 2024, when the build-out officially started.

Training started to take shape in mid-2024 under the expert leadership of Kirsten, our Head of Cycle. With her deep passion for movement, mindfulness, and music, Kirsten set out to create a cycling program unlike any other—a space where riders of all levels could come together to feel inspired, empowered, and connected.

In October 2024, the RIDE team—led by a powerhouse instructors, Kirsten, Lea, Ale, and Paula—began an intensive training program. For months, they worked tirelessly to craft classes that blend strength, rhythm, and emotion. Each session was fine-tuned to ensure that the program isn’t just physically challenging, but also emotionally uplifting.

“Our goal has always been to make RIDE a welcoming space,” Kirsten says. “Whether it’s your first time on a bike or your hundredth, we want you to feel at home, inspired, and ready to discover something new about yourself.”

Meet the Team Behind RIDE

Kirsten
Kirsten, the visionary Head of Cycle at MIX MVMT, brings a unique blend of artistry, discipline, and passion to the RIDE program. With a background in classical ballet, drama, and voice starting at age five, Kirsten developed a deep appreciation for the connection between movement, emotion, and expression. She discovered cycling as a powerful way to strengthen not just the body but also the mind and spirit.

Lea
Lea’s classes are a testament to her rich background in fitness and her passion for music. She creates robust, full-body workouts that are equal parts challenging and enjoyable. Her ability to connect with the room and curate eclectic playlists ensures that every session feels fresh, dynamic, and fun.

Ale
With over 25 years of fitness experience, Ale is the heart and soul of MIX Studio. Her deep understanding of movement and alignment brings balance and precision to every ride. Ale’s classes blend technique with creativity, delivering workouts that elevate your heart rate and your spirit.

Paula
Paula’s artistry and discipline shine through in every class she teaches. Her background in ballet and mental health coaching brings a unique perspective to RIDE, where the physical meets the emotional. Whether you’re pushing your limits or soaking in the rhythm, Paula’s classes are designed to leave you feeling strong, centered, and inspired.
